Vigorous sales across its lineup of Subaru symmetrical full-time All-Wheel Drive vehicles rocketed to 2,700 units in March, up 7.9 percent over the same month last year and eclipsed the previous monthly record, set last April, by 2.3 percent. This record-setting pace also solidifies Subaru Canada’s position as the fastest growing Japanese manufacturer this month.

Sales soared across the lineup with Subaru’s Forester, WRX/STI and Outback models setting new records for March sales. Forester led the way with results up 21.7 percent for the month, besting the previous record – set in 2009 – by 6.9 percent, and was closely followed by a 20.8 percent increase in WRX/STI sales over last March. It was also the best March ever for Outback with a 1.4 percent increase over the same month last year.
